I want to make a copy of a games CD ( Need for speed – PC version) the reason being that my nephew is always fiddling around with it and hence it has quite a bit of scratches on it already. Problem is that the copy protection on the CD doesn’t allow me to make a copy using my current software – Nero.
Does anyone know where I can get some software that will allow me to make a copy?
I don’t want to pay a lot for the software since it’s just a one off CD copying, so even an evaluation copy would suit me fine
Any help would be much appreciated.

or

anyway, i think breaking copy protection is against the forum rules
yes u r right but virtual disk does not condone breaking copy right protection Its legal to back up games/software/data if you own the original copy and you do not sell them or so i thought0 -

A direct ISO copy might do the trick, I like to riip ISO's using ISO creater by Lucersoft. All you then have to do is burn the ISO to CD.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
