It could be that you're able to receive from two transmitters and the one you usually get your pictures from has reduced power from some reason.
You may find in a couple of days that when you rescan, you will pick up your original transmitter again.0 -
Could be the recnt high pressure and troposheric propagation. Signal strength can be affected so that an out of area signal becomes strong enough to wipe out your normal signal, or your normal is weakened with the same outcome. Unlless you can do a manual rescan nickmack's suggestion holds water.
If you are interested, there are some threads on subject in Digital Spy0 -
I have a Panasonic DVD recorder with built in DVB (Freeview) tuner but it won't allow you to tune manually! I wonder what some of these designers are thinking!
My aerial is pointing at Emley Moor; it's bigger than the normal 10 element and was replaced as we experience some seriously bad ghosting.
The only place it tells you what it's tuned to is on the signal quality indicator, which gives the channel number. Turns out it was on Belmont, which is in the opposite direction. So all that hightech aerial and digital and it just does as it pleases.
Anyway, I did another scan and unplugged the aerial upto about channel 40 where Emley Moor's digital muxes are. Belmont's are in the 20s and 30s. Depending on what channels the wanted and unwanted muxes are on, you may be able to do this.
Do you know what transmitters you are receiving or what channels the muxes are on? Where abouts are you located?0
