Hi all,
Had a chap at the door from a guy from a company called EAGA.....they do loft insulation and wall insulation amongst other things.
Seemingly my L.A had them doing the above in council houses and now the government has extended this to homeowners too ???
Anyway offering wall insulation @£129 and the same for loft insulation, stating the government pay the rest through a grant.
My house is only 9 years old, so i would be hoping that i already have this in my walls. Can do my loft myself. He gave me the usual how you can save X amount of hundreds per year on fuel bills etc......
Has any one heard of them, has anyone heard of this grant AND has anyone had it done/think it is worth it ???
Cheers guys. :j

Yes of course it's worth it, but your roof at least should already be insulated in a 9 year old house (though it might need topping up).
You might also look at the subsidised rate from your gas or electricity supplier. No free lunch, and no free laptop
