Anyone have any idea if this at Wakefield store.

Homebase in Ruislip, Middlesex were lowering their garden furniture prices this morning, but they still weren't real bargains. I asked the person who was pricing them up if they were cheaper at the tills and when she checked they weren't. She said it was up to the manager's discretion.
I managed to get a 'Canterbury' garden bench (1.2m) down from £49.99 to £19.99 from the Hayes branch. The 1.5m one was still priced at £59.99.:beer:Thank you to all posters:beer:

I started this thread yesterday morning but seemed to have lost my 'Thread Cred'. Does anyone know how come?don.westcoast wrote:Noticed in Homebase (Pollokshaws, Glasgow) that the garden furniture is greatly reduced again. e.g. wood (I don't think it is hardwood) table, seats 4-6, that was £149 reduced to £40.
Not many left but if you are quick...

I'd be very grateful if you could tell us more about the table. What was the name / style / number ? Thanks !!!0

The table was a "harrogate".
I also picked upo some canterbury folding hardwood chairs - £25 for 2. Used them yesterday and they were damn good for the price.
Popped in today and grabbed another couple and some cusions for them at £3.99 for 2 cusions.0 -
Hi Whirly,
Thanks for that ? I think maybe you got extremely lucky with some very old stock from last year or before ?
I have a catalogue and there is no furniture at all called "Harrogate". Not one single thing !
They are either Buckingham, Canterbury, Winchester, Windsor, or Milan, Monaco, Sorrento, Barcelona !
Was there a product code for the item ?
I have chairs at a reasonable price, i just need a table !0 -
Just thought I'd mention my local Sainsbury's were selling http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shoppingandservices/Clothinghomeware/Homeware/Visit+the+marquee/furniture_and_gardening/Teak_chairs.htm?prevUrl=%2fsearch.htm%3fquery%3dteak%26x%3d0%26y%3d0 for £49 for 2 chairs. A bargain!0

Hey Fifo,
Just checking the receipt it lists it as:
HB H'stead Rect (B)
5050595278259
I got the name of the table off the box and I could have sworn it said Harrogate but maybe it was Hampstead. It's more than possible I got it wrong.0 -
I think "Harrogate" was a bit oop north for them. All the ranges seemed to be named after places in Surrey,,, darling. A bit Hyacinth Bouqet.
What is it made of ? Is it good quality ?0
