Saw on gadget show a while ago they had a coupel of adapters, think you plug them in ur wal lsockets, then ur TV/dvd etc int othem, so when ur goods are put on stand-by at night or when at work, it actually kills all power being used, hence saving money.
Are they any good? And wheres best to get one/some from? Are they all pretty much similar?
Thanks in advance

Alternatively a combination of legs, knees and fingers can be employed at a much lower cost.0

We have one on our main PC, so when it comes on the printer, scanner, etc all come on. They are useful if the socket switch is not easily accesible as was the case for us. Otherwise just switch off at the plug.
Have a look for powerdown plugs on ebay0
