Travel from Florida to Jamiaca by Cruise?

I have relatives in Florida and Jamaica and was planning on visiting them al in November. Ideally I would like to fly from here to fla for about 2 weeks and spend the middle 7 days in JA. Rather than getting a flight from FLorida to JA would it be possible to get one of the many cruises that travel between the two and do in effect a 'stopover' for a week in JA? Anyone know or could suggest a booking company that might know?
Also with cruises how does the quoted room rate relate to what you actually end up paying?
