We sponsor a little girl in Tanzania through http://www.plan-uk.org/. It costs £18 per month and we get regular updates and photos, and send letters and gifts.

We sponsor a little boy in Sri Lanka through World Vision. It costs £18 per month and we get updates and photographs etc. I would put a link but I am rubbish at that sort of thing..sorry

I have sponsered through Plan UK for about 15 years, and would definitely recommend it. It's lovely to be able to correspond with the child that you support, and to hear directly about the ways in which your donations are helping.
