Access Violation

Hi All
I hope that somebody can help me I've searched the 'net and done as much as I can with my limited knowledge but.......

I have downloaded a game from Big Fish games and when I try to play the game I get the message ' Error Access violation at 0x77B07DD2 (tried to write to 0x00000024), program terminated'.

I have used Ccleaner to clean up the registry and i can't see what else I need to do.

Does anyone have any advice please?

Thank you

loulou :)

What game is it? Have you tried contacting the makers/had a look on their FAQ to see if it's a known issue?

    Hi Darksun

The game is Artists Colony and I downloaded the free demo a few weeks ago and played that ok.

I will look at the makers FAQs though.

I have periodically had issues, I run Vista and it seems that whenever I download window updates I get problems.

It recommends disabling your AV (and any other similar software), which might not be a bad shout, just make sure you start it up again before going on the internet.

The toolbar is suppsoed to be malware related, so id certainly be removing that if you can

Personally I wouldnt touch 'bigfish' with a bargepole, as theres something a tad dodgy with the software they put on your computer

I don't have the toolbar - luckily by the sounds of it. I still haven't had a response from Bigfish so i'll keep on waiting
