Baumatic appliances

Can anyone give me any info on Baumatic appliances - I can't seem to find any reviews and don't want to buy a make I know nothing about (I'm basically looking at hob, hood, double oven and dishwasher - the prices seem good.

I have a Baumatic oven and don't think a lot of it.
It works Ok but when it's on and the fan going you can feel the air coming out, we've had two new seals fitted but it makes no difference.
Not a big thing and maybe others are the same.

We recently bought a built in baumatic dishwasher and it's been brilliant so far (3 months). Had really good reviews, think this is the one, can't remember where we got it from now though:

Sailorsam - I thought all ovens did that, our Zanussi definately does anyway and doesn't seem to be a problem

Had a built in dishwasher BDW45 lastest around 4-5 years, quiet and decent wash , had to renew as could not select a programme. Replaced with the same model came with free 2year labour gaurentee and 5 years parts.

I bought a Buamatic Cooker hood - it was the cheapest at the time at around £120 (I couldn't bring myself to pay more on something so dull!) and its been ok I suppose. Looks the part and still works after a year, but the fans rattle and squeak on the higher settings and I'm not overly convinced it actually extracts much air. Not catastrophic by any means, just mildy annoying.

We have a Baumatic fan oven and ceramic hob which are fine, although I do find the grill is a bit of a pig to use.

Ok thanks i didn't realise, i thought it was just mine.
Well in that case it works fine. I never use the grill and a couple have commented on it, must have a go.

I've got a baumatic cooker hood and built in mcrowave. Have been pleased with both. They have been in for just over 2 years now and haven't had any problems. The hood was bought because I liked the design and price and after all it's just an extractor fan so wasn't going to spend a fortune. It seems very efficient. The microwave was bought again mainly on being the nicest looking that we could have built in for a sensible price. Only thin I find annoying on that is that it's a dial for the timer (everything else is buttons except this!) Ok for short times but anything over a couple of minutes can get very tedious! Fortunately we don't use the microwave very much anyway so we can live with that.
