Toshiba Satellite P100 Laptops, too good a deal

The following laptops seem far too good to be true, (the ones that are selling for around GBP 200. I can't believe they are that cheap also feedback is kept private and all various sellers just have 10 positive feedbacks over short period of time? Has anyone bought one of these or know what the catch is?

Are you thinking what I'm thinking, that the OP could actually be the seller?-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
Well a lot of scammers are really, really stupid, but trying to scam a group who are obviously going to be as well up as anyone on the ways of the scammers is pushing the envelope.razorbladekisses wrote:Are you thinking what I'm thinking, that the OP could actually be the seller?
However, if I was thinking of buying something expensive and wasn't sure, I would join a forum like this just to check, so he's not necessarily guilty.0 -
That's just my opinion. I didn't expect you to agree.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

i sure am razorbladekisses0 -
For goodness sake course I'm not the seller and I'm not a he either, get a life.
I was only asking for advice. I get that it's definitely a scam but what happens they don't send the goods? How can they do that if they specify what they are selling?
Any recommendations for cheap laptop, think refurbished ones from outlet stores seem to be best deals?CC 0% £1,700

Actually, if you look at what I wrote, you'll see I did agree (that it was possible - even if a bit unlikely).razorbladekisses wrote:That's just my opinion. I didn't expect you to agree.
Some spammers actually ARE that stupid.0 -
It's nicer not to gang up on new members. Why conspire to accuse with no evidence whatsoever?
Anyway, in an attempt to bring some value to the thread (unusual for me you may say), note the following:
If you were to buy one of these laptops on eBay you would be asked to pay via Western Union or a similar untraceable form of funds transfer. That's the last you would see of the seller.
Nobody will be selling the latest technology laptops cheaply - the components are too expensive still.
If you just need a cheap laptop for work/internet etc. then cheap models from Dell or Acer (as at Tesco) will do for about £300.
If you need a new top-end machine expect to pay £1800. Nobody can sell a new £1800 machine for £1000 - it will definitely be a scam.
