am i working this out right??

my useage over the past 3 days is 30 units @11.23 per unit

I am working this out to be £3.37 plus vat

=11.23 x 30/100 = £3.37

is this right?? sorry to appear thick but want to make sure!

    Your maths is correct. Presumably you are talking about units of electricity (Kwh)?

    yes i am.... I am monitoring my usage very closely and am rapidly becoming a pain switching everything off and analysing the useage.... before monday i was averaging 20 units per day :eek: think 10 per day is miles better.......

    About £34pm +VAT. Quite low usage, lower than UK average.

    If you have just one rate per unit (rather than Tier 1 and Tier2) it is likely you will also have a daily standing charge to add on, that is as long as you are not with Ebico.
