My son needed one because he had to dress up as a WW2 evacuee at school.
My wife found one in a charity shop for a £ 1.00, in very good condition.0 -

not all kids had caps - if you look on old school photos - then caps were a rarity. its not essential hun. but i bet you dont want to give him a pudding bowl haircut for the sake of authenticity. ive got quite a few old family photos and only one shows a kid with a cap - and that was a scouts cap. but not worn at school i dont think.0
