Battlefield 2 - Bas company is out this week. A guy at works taken the day off to play it, it's getting as much hype as Call of duty
so, to beat the rush, where is the cheapest place to buy this?
So far £36.99 from Amazon is my cheapest find, anyone beat that?
Any roumers of release day Asda blowout that sometimes happens?

Limited Edition £34.99 on Steam (PC)
I got bored fairly quickly with the other battlefield titles tho so am in 2 minds over this one......Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Limited Edition is only available until March 16th at 12:01 AM PST. It includes 6 unlocks and instants beta access that ends February 25th!
Limited Edition
Improved Vehicle Armor: An up-armor package is mounted on all vehicle types, decreasing the effect of both explosive and penetrating warheads, significantly improving vehicle survivability.
Supreme Vehicle Firepower: Additional weapon packages are mounted for the driver of all armored vehicles, greatly expanding the range of targets the vehicle can successfully engage and destroy.
Vehicle Motion Sensor: Use this electronics warfare package to locate enemy units in direct proximity to the vehicle.
Tracer Dart Pistol: This magnetic dart attaches to any vehicle surface, allowing squad members to track, lock on, and fire rockets onto moving targets even beyond line of sight.
M1A1 Sub-machine Gun: Reliable but heavy this classic weapon is a powerful force in the hands of any Battlefield veteran.
M1911 Pistol: Highly customized M1911 are favoured for its dependability and the power of its large .45 caliber round.0 -

Well play.com has it at £36.99, HMV is £39.99 (eek!) and Zavvi has it for £37.95... and I've run out of places to look lol£2 Savers Club 2011 (putting towards a deposit

Try searching via https://www.find-games.co.uk. That normally finds the best prices.
Incidentally they have sister sites find-books, find-dvd and find-cd.
All are pretty useful. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -

It's all about the online this time I think, but we'll see... im wanting more than the demo was giving me.
PC version should be around £25, although I dont see why as console versions have less chance of being pirated on the internet! :mad:0 -
That's why the PC version is cheaper! Hopefully if it's cheap people won't bother to pirate it, they'll just buy it.
You can get the PC version for £23.99 BTW.It's my problem, it's my problem

£10 whole pounds more per console sale... they wont bother at all with pc releases in the future I bet. in fact I seem to recall many devlopers saying similar, dropping out of the pc scope altogether. We'll see eh0

Microsoft and Sony make money on the games (Which is why they cost more than PC games) by taking a portion of the profits:idea:0
