Please send the mojo fairy my way if you bump into him/her! :D

I'm more of a lurker than a poster (atho I have my moments!!) but I agree with AlfieBlue - really like the threads (like the Bonkers one and Kiss) where you can have a quick read thru and are GUARENTEED to laugh! Keeps you going when it's slow :)

I'm getting really fed up with this now. I used to come home at lunchtime to see what the postman had brought last year I got at least 1 prize a week, now I am not too bothered with the mail as I know there will be nothing exciting. :(
January I had a few small wins but I have only had 1 since the begining of February.:(
I am still comping but my enthusiasm has gone & I am now so far behind I wonder if I should bother at all.:(
But huge thanks to everyone who posts comps & when the better weather comes it may lift my mood.

How many comps is everyone entering per week on average? I entered over 500 that ended 28th Feb and all I won is a creme egg beachball and a few free samples of creme and lip salve that I requested. I am new to this and cannot possibly type out forms or autofill them any faster. I only use one email addy, surely you cannot use more unless you have a variety of other home addresses to use and most t & C's is one entry per household? Am I getting it all wrong?

Like others Im getting down about not winning especially on postal comps as only won a dvd in the two years Ive been doing that thread! Still Im so grateful to the people that post comps that I get mad at myself when I complain and keep trying to remember the times I was able to have a treat or give a treat to someone in the past which otherwise I could never afford. So even though I have lost my mojo quite a bit Im going to keep trying and keep wishing the best of luck to you all :)

I lost my comping mojo last year (mid-September) after only comping for about 3.5 months. It wasn't that I wasn't winning, I just got bored - I get bored very easily and am forever changing my hobbies!

Anyway I still had wins arriving throughout Sept-Dec despite not entering hardly any comps - more like 100 a month as opposed to 100 a day. Just before the xmas break I had a WEM saying I'd won £100's worth of Jemma Kidd make up and from then on I got my mojo back!!

I had a slow Jan, but not surprising considering I only started comping again at the end of Dec, a good Feb and so far a great March! So am feeling happy and lucky but I have been putting the hours in!

I've never had a 'big' win like a holiday or ITV, the biggest win ever was a gadget I won last month worth £250 which I'm very grateful for.

Just remember it's the luck of the draw and you have to be in it to win it!!
    2009 Wins = £833
    2010 Wins = £6,597
    2011 Wins = £7,083

    £2,012 in 2012 = £450/£2,012
    20 in 2012 = 4/20

Hi, I wasn't aware there was a comping mojo, I've never had one to start with :D Since last October I have won 3 books, a lip gloss, a creme egg keyring and a yearly astrology forecast which was posted to me as soon as I emailed my details (very quick, and I have had junk mail from the company ever since :)) ....Anyway, that's why when I post comps I like to see people win from them, that's what makes it worthwhile for me. For now, until I have the big win myself:)

    Hi Softpad,

Please excuse if I have made a mistake here - long time lurker, first time posting - I hope this works!!

I'm no spring chicken - been comping for many years. I have had a lot of good fortune re competitions, sometimes thru luck, sometimes thru effort eg: tiebreakers etc (few years back tiebreakers were more popular). However, I have had some lovely wins all thanks to this site. I love it, and I keep trucking on - always thinking positive thoughts. If i'm entering competitions I usually enter thinking of my nearest and dearest - my husband has advanced prostate cancer (just diagnosed) and my kids and me are with him all the way. He's doing good at the moment and every day we send thanks up that he is doing ok.

So - here I go blethering on!!! Apologies - its just - you know - keep at it, its just so lovely when you get an email or a letter, and you will be over the moon!

So sorry for blethering, but the prizes are out there, you gotta be in it to win it.!!!

Just a last wee word - many many thanks to all who posts here - you are amazing - thank you so much xxxxxxxx

Thanks for the lovely message that it was nice to read, I was a lurker for a long time before I joined, too. :)

I am having a lot of pleasure reading all of the replies on here, I don't tend to 'do' internet forums as I am a very private person and suspicious of the internet, but I have come out of my shell as this board is such a great little community. It's great how we all help and encourage each other and how you get to 'know' the names.

Thanks all for the lovely posts, here's to a great March for us all and welll done to Poodledoodledoo already for getting her Mojo back! Let's hope we get lots more nice replies.

    xx
