I'm the same at the moment, I try and read peoples signatures & look at the pics of what ppl have won to try and spur me on again, but its just not working at the moment!

I've won 3 things this year...I've been progressively entering more and more competitions. I'm now pushing for about a week ahead (I've got the flu at the moment so I've had more time lol) but it seems rather slow. I'm trying to keep the "you have to be in it to win it" mentality but it's wearing a little thin. Plus I feel kuk so that's probably why I'm being moany!

GOOD LUCK ALL hope you get something soon x

It's a slog as I fall so far behind and must miss tonnes. On 18 February still, so got a lot of catching up to do. Only seem to manage to catch up on two days at a time (max), then barely manage any on a weekend, and so addicted to bejeweled on FB that I never seem to enter many at night either! When I first started, I caught up every day, even if it meant sitting there at night or at weekends for hours if I'd been busy at work. So I guess I've lost my mojo a bit, but I am still enjoying... a nice win would be good though! Had some nice books lately, but it's hardly an ITV win, is it ;) Some cash to go towards our new house would be fab :D

I do think I like entering for the sake of entering though. Can't see me giving up this hobby in the near future.

    Good luck all,

    Jx

I only enter comps once as thats enough for me to keep track off. I have lost my mojo, I started well this year and now have gone really quite though still doing the same amount of comps. I go through patches of feeling fed up but when you win something even if its little it makes you happy. There are a lot of newbies on here recently who seem to be winning.

Send me some luck comping fairy!

I'm definitely lost my mojo and thinking of taking a break for a month or so - very poor results given the time spent. I'm sure I read on the guide or somewhere that if you lose your mojo then take a break, it's not worth it if it seems like a chore.

But good luck to all as ever :)

Not being greedy, lol most of that was one win and one as usual I did not benefit from! I do comp for fun but I'm sure others can agree that lots of our wins get taken straight away by OH, DD, DS etc or something we entered for someone else and then gave away so we don't get anything ourselves :) It would be nice to have a teeny weeny thing for me

I'm sorry, but saying you're not happy with winning over £1.5k of prizes in two months will dishearten a lot of others who have won zilch this year (and last). Even if you're not winning many prizes for yourself, you've done exceptionally well to win that amount in two months and letting family members have prizes does not count as a no-win. If you enter a kids competition, kids are going to benefit from it surely? How about entering more competitions for yourself? Or leaving some of the little ones and entering ones involving more effort to win yourself something you want?

I just think people getting disheartened with such a large amount of wins is a shame really...
  • Still nothing this year! :P
It's only making me enter more.

i know how yous feel, last 2-3 month of last year i felt like that but i plodded on and so far i have done really well this year. But whats good for me might be rubbish for others example if i win 3-4 prizes a month im chuffed to bits whilst others more hard core compers that might be a slow month.x
