Word 2007 - headers and margin probs!

It's driving me nuts now!

I'm setting up a new template with for our new letterhead and have got the logo etc in the header. When I change the margin in the body of the page it shoots the logo in the header across the page :mad::mad:.

Does anybody know if or how I can have a different margin in the header to the page?

Not that I know of - unless you can call it a 'section' or 'paragraph' and adjust the properties that way.

But you should be able to 'grab' and move / position a logo anywhere in a header anyway ?

I've put everything into text boxes and it works just fine that way.

That's great - glad to have helped !

Formatting is always a pain to get right, and you can usually do things if you try a few different ways - in this case it was 'thinking inside the (text) box' :rotfl:

It often helps to use the show/hide tool - it looks like a back-to-front 'P' on the toolbar. It shows you where and what all the formatting commands are that you have used.
