Alliance & Leicester Faster Payments ?

I have a standing order from my LTSB account to transfer £125 per week from it to my Alliance and Leicester Premier account and then back again (For the 6% interest).
So first week of doing it this week money leaves LTSB on Tuesday arrives in A&L right away, money leaves A&L and still waiting for it to arrive in LTSB !.
Now I can do a faster payment from A&L to LTSB under £250 as a manual quick payment and it arrives instantly in LTSB, but I am thinking that A&L standing orders do not go by faster payments ?, can anyone just clarify that for me ?.
Thanks.

I wouldn't bother with SOs if they go by BACS - you can do 2 x £250 manual FPs, then back again, over 2 consecutive days. It only takes a few moments each day.

standing orders from A&L go by BACS at the minute. Stick to manual payments and you can do it in minutes, as long as you stick to less than £250 per dayDebts at LBM (May '08) £5760 - Lloyds CC £4260, Lloyds OD £1500;Debts as of May 28th 2011:Santander CC: £0.00Lloyds OD : £0.00DFW Nerd #1247 - Proudly dealt with my Debts

To get over the £250 max per day I send £250 to my FD account, £250 to my HSBC account then send that on to my FD account.
In all I have 4 bank accounts that do FP properly so I can get £1k out per day instantly to one account.0
