Just wanted to warn others of this one,
Recently we bought pizza,s using a half price voucher form the Invitations voucher booklet we buy every year .
We ordered online at pizza hut , and the site took our card details. Upon arrival and collection of our pizza,s and presentation of the voucher , we were told
" sorry sir , you have to call our head office to get a refund, but we take the fiull amount off your card now, so you need to claim it back via head office, with your receipt, voucher and card "
It was a saturday and head office was m-f hours only.
A littled miffed at this , but we thought ok , so monday morning we called head office , and explained
" ah yes sir, ok I will sort that out for you now"
1 week later no credit , I called again and explained
" Oh sorry sir there is no record of your call to us , I will try again and get it sorted for you now "
Ok fine I thought, now 2 weeks later still no refund , so i called again and requested to speak to a supervisor
" Oh sorry sir , I will do it now for you "
So I still await after over 2 weeks from original purchase, but im not feeling confident !!
So to anyone who uses a Invitations voucher with pizza Hut be warned of this !!

Do you know whether this problem arose because you ordered online or if it's standard for the use of these vouchers? E.g had you called up and been able to let them know you had the voucher before ordering, would this still have ocurred?0

Apparently its now the standard way Pizza Hut deal with the vouchers now,
You pay full price in the shop , and then its down to you to call head office to get the voucher costs refunded , you need orginal receipt and voucher when calling !!
The guy in the shop said
" Its ok , lots of other customers have done this , dont worry "0 -
If you order online, using a code, it charges your card the correct amount - we've ordered loads of times in the last few months
Just so people don't get scared of using their online service (which is pretty good).0 -

All i can say it what happen to us , and what we were told,
It didnt work for us online and neither in shop , the manager in Pizza hut said it is standard practise now , for customers to call head office to claim the voucher refund !!
So is it a rogue pizza hut we visited ???
Is this only applicable to " Invitations booklet vouchers " ??
Who knows ???
But felt it necessary to inform fellow moneysavers0 -
What kind of vouchers are these?
We used a voucher for pizza last week and it charged the card the right amount. It automatically puts the discount on the price you pay. Did you pay by card online or by cash? If you pay by card it adds the discount automatically.0 -

I think the problem here is they aren't Pizza Hut vouchers/codes, they're from a 3rd party voucher book you pay for.
If you google 'Invitations voucher book, you'll see what it is. (Sounds like a bit of a rip off to me)Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Yes peachyprice is correct the vouchers are from a booklet you buy and it is jammed full of voucher offers , for everything you can think of , very good especially if you have kids ,
Can save you alot of money IF you go to , or use the places in the booklet with the vouchers !!
Just to update, after yet another call to the manager at Pizza Hut head office in Herts , we now finally have a refund , took 3 weeks but we got there !! :j:j0 -

but only if you would have already used those places
if your using the vouchers to justify some sort of upgrading or treats, then its costing you money0 -
Glad you got your refund!Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
