Well you can currently get a Advance Single for £32.20 on the 21:05 from Euston... change at Stockport. Arr HCH at 00:15.
If you want to travel at any other time, yes it is over £55.0 -
Thank you for that.......Someone has to pick me up at the other end so it's a bit late. I have been searching for over a month for cheap tickets and they have all been this price.
Guess I'll have to drive up there then.0 -
You really think the fuel is going to be cheaper (especially when wear and tear factored in)?Liversausage wrote: »Thank you for that.......Someone has to pick me up at the other end so it's a bit late. I have been searching for over a month for cheap tickets and they have all been this price.

What you could do (and technically you can't pass a ticket on to someone else) is get a saver return (cost is £56, as opposed to a saver single at £55) and sell the other portion (it can be used any time within one month).0 -

Hello
This is my first ever post so I hope it is ok. I am told that the Daily Mail does a discount code for a family and friends railcard each year - does anyone know when this is likely to appear? I have been searching for months and don't want to spend full price only for the discount to appear the following week! Thanks, all.0 -
So.....
Are there any codes knocking around for any rail fare sites????0 -

This year's offer expired on 31 July - it was mentioned several times on this site.
So next summer, unfortunately, unless someone else runs a similar offer0
