Student Loan living overseas
Comments
-
the SLC have asked me to provide information regarding my circumstances.
i am currently living off savings and not working.
in the new year i plan to go abroad for possibly over 6 months.
can SLC demand money back if they think I can afford it?0 -
If your not working then SLC would not expect any repayments from you. You would need to show you have sufficient savings to support yourself for the year. If you can't provide this evidence then you would need a letter from whoever is providing you support.0

And you must definitely give them details of where you will be or else there are financial penalties.0
