Downloading the Archers radio4 - how?

Hi,
I would like to start downloading the omnibus episode of the Archers (dont ask!) onto a ipod. When i go onto the Radio 4 website it says to Download - right click & save as. which then brings up the Save as box, in what do i save it? my documents, my computer, network or desktop.
Will i then just be able to connect my ipod and transfer it?
Can i do it without subscribing to itunes?
I know its simply when you know how, but i have no idea.

Just open itunes and subscribe to it

Or just click on the Podcast link on the Archers home page which will do the same thing
