At the end of last month, I listed two item. One was a Sony 8mm camcorder which sold for £46 on the 1st and the second was an apple refurb 4gb mini ipod at a buy it now for £79 + £10 p&p on the 7th jul(max amount, difference would be refunded after spec del.)
The 1st purchaser decided that he would be out of the country for 4 weeks and did not want to pay until mid august. I emailed him a few times but he would not change his mind so on the 14th I opened an unpaid dispute and hopefully I'll be able to get my fees back.
The ipod purchaser also only wants to pay next month as well but I'm away for 6 months as of next thursday so I emailed her this on monday. She says she's be ill and would send her cheque asap. Now I opened a dispute on this item too yesterday as she has also bought another ipod from ebay on the same day and not paid for it.
Should I just leave an unpaid strike against them both? Is that unreasonable?
cheers

Perfectly fair in my opinion. How long have you given ipod buyer so far? They have 7 days to pay... don't think you can leave a strike before that.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Seems quite fair.
You should not bid on something you cannot pay for unless you get the seller's agreement beforehand.0 -
I personally don't think you're being unreasonable at all, they shouldn't have bought the items if they couldn't pay straight away.
If the second buyer's cheque turns up I think I would cancel the dispute though, unless you no longer want to deal with her in which case send it back and email her again and say due to the delay in payment you are no longer able to deal with her (or something along those lines),
What's unreasonable is expecting a seller to wait 6 weeks to receive payment, no matter of the excuse.Mum to three little boys0 -
If a cheque does turn up please send the items special delivery to cover yourself and prevent possible hassle.0

I'd make sure you sort him out before he finishes the copy of "Hardcore Bodybuilding" that he's just bought
