I'd definately see your doctor asap. Pain/cramps and spotting in pregnancy are not uncommon in some women but I'm sure your aware that in some women its bad news.
If you can't get in to see your doctor you can go to A&E.

    Hope everything turns out ok.

Feel free to PM me if you want a chat, Iv'e been through this twice and mine both turned out bad.

P.S we are looking at "travel systems" at the weekend, apparently thats what they call prams now days !!

We looked at a Gracco (I think) last weekend and that looked pretty good.

    Any recommendations ?

I just got this one. Really good value and you won't wake the little one up when moving from the car. My mum bought it and was expecting to pay about £400 which is why she offered to help me out, she can't believe how decent it is for £119.75

I've had cramping early on in two pgs and all's been okay *touch wood* (a friend of mine who also experienced cramps was told it was to do with the sac implanting?) - but I think if you're concerned you should definitely pop along to your doc, if only for your own peace of mind.

Thanks all. Cramps have gone now. But ive got a drs appointment tomorrow.

One other thing that i am worried about is that i went to a theme park when i was 5 weeks and went on all the rides. Can this be harmful?

A few years ago (*ahem) I was in Germany on holiday and had a great day out at a theme park, loved the dodgems and the high fast rollercoasters. I had lower back ache for a few days and also a sick feeling early morning. When we got back from the holiday I realised I hadn't had my usual period, naturally my 1st thought was I was ill! I was confirmed 6 weeks pregnant and felt sicker then at what I had put baby through! All went well and he's now 13! Go to the drs and also rest but don't wrap yourself in cotton wool. Best Wishes to you.

I got married in Florida and went on all the rides at Universal and Disney . The day before we were due to come home I realised my period hadn't turned up, took a pregnancy test and found I was expecting my eldest now aged 6.:D

He was fine though he is extremely boisterous, loud and lively. I blame it on him going on the tower of terror when he was an embryo :p

Hoping I can join the (pudding) club

I'm Laura (27) expecting first baby in March next year. So far I've been pretty lucky - no sickness, just tiredness - although my sense of smell is AMAZING at the moment!

Hoping everything is going to go well - can't wait to be a mum :T
