Too much childcare vouchers

At the minute I'm getting the full amount of childcare vouchers per month £243 which covers our childcare costs, so I'm saving a wee bit every month in the account. This will probably be used up when our second starts, but at some point I will need to stop claiming vouchers.
Can I then claim back any unused vouchers (minus the tax obviously?) or is the money stuck there?

1. Can employees obtain a refund for any unused childcare vouchers?
   HMRC will accept that the purpose of the childcare voucher scheme won’t change if employers only exchange unused vouchers for cash in exceptional circumstances event (for example, death of the child, redundancy of one parent etc).
   
   However this is contractual law and entirely at the discretion of the employer.
   To receive a refund, employees should complete a Reimbursement Request form and return it your HR or Payroll department who will forward to Employers for Childcare Vouchers, and a refund will be issued. The refund will be made payable to you the employer who can then make payment to the employee through the payroll and will be subject to the employee’s current rate of tax and NIC

I am hoping to use any surplus in our account for after school clubs/ breakfast clubs/ holidays clubs etc when DS starts school.

I overpaid my sons nursery using the vouchers. I then got the last few months free. You need to speak to them to check they are happy with this first. they are being paid in advance so as long as books balance.
