Hi all,
I am currently renting a property that has an agent working on the owners behalf, the owner is now switching agent and I was wondering what happens to my deposit - is it refunded to me plus interest from existing agent? And then do I submit deposit to new agent? Or is it a straight forward transfer from the DPS (deposit protection scheme)?
Cheers

DPS will accept a simple request for a new AGent transfer... you wont get the money back... but in a few weeks. check it out on the DPS website that the new agent is actually registered.....
DPS do not pay any interest to landlord or tenant..0 -
