Surely it's the supermarkets buying the cards, not Apple supplying them for free (and then getting the money when activated at the till) so I expect this is illegal.
  • I went into the Basingstoke store yesterday and was told the offer had been withdrawn but that Morrisons had forgotten to withdraw the advertising!!!

I went to Basingstoke today, lots of the cards on the entertainment desk, but no advertising. Took the card to the checkout and it discounted £5.00 automatically. hth

    I think you'll find that's stealing!

Taking a bottle of vodka from Tescos and trying to pay for it at Morrisons because it's cheaper is the same as you're suggesting! :rotfl:

the cards are blank cards that do not have monetary value until you pay for them and validate them at a checkout

Then I don't understand why you'd go to another store and then take them to Morrisons to pay for them - because the Morrisons I was in had loads of them anyway. On the entertainment stand, and at the magazine counter.

There was a big spread in the Sun this week with itunes but Morrisions must be daft or something.

The £15 ones were on sale for £10

The £25 ones were on sale for £20

Any body see the big mistake.

If you buy 2 x £10 (£20) you get £30 worth of itunes.
If you buy 1 x £20 you get £25 worth of itunes

You get £5 more itunes if you buy them in 2 cards.

    Somebody slipped up.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
