Hbos/bos experian credit files not updated--any advice ??

Just a quickie;), the usual monthly updates for my HBOS and BOS accounts have appeared as normal on Equifax in the middle of February however, nothing has been updated on Experian since January:eek:i understand the feeds are technically one month in arrears as such!! ,now whilst this may not bother some it bothers me as my file is perfect and i expect it all to be updated correctly and on time.

I have just spoken with the Halifax re my halifax and bos accounts and was told they are NOT obliged to update information via the CRA feed every month, get this, only every 6 months, im not too sure this is accurate but the agent went away after speaking with her manager and this was the response.

Experian state they can only update when the lender submits the relevant data so theres nothing they can do from their side:eek:

Any advice as to what to do next?

Thanks

    You are worrying about nothing.
They will update it at some point.
Like they say they are not obliged to report at all.

Lloyds report every month for some, for others its quarterly - same with Halifax.

Surely it doesn't natter how often it is done, so long as it is accurate?

You state the Halifax reporting is quarterly for some ,FACTUALLY incorrect.it IS monthly and their has been an almighty !!!! up on this occasions clearly.

Althought the issue doesnt really bother me as such,as my credit files are perfect with NO defaults or adverse i expect it to be updated correctly each month to give an accurate picture of my credit based commitments.

Banks dont have to report every month they can do it when they see fit.

It could be monthly, quarterly or not at all :-)

IE Natwest they may do it month by month then suddenly change to every 2 months etc. (im not saying they do its just an example)
