Why does it always happen?

ok Sorry guys but I felt the need for a moan, and I knew just where to come.

Why is it that when ever you seem to be on track something happens to send you off the path again! I was on budget for the month when yesterday I needed an emergency dental appointment (was in pain) and now not only do I have a bad tooth but I'm down £100 too!

sorry just need to have a whine!

thanks guys

I know, we don't plan for emergencies do we.

I've hurt my foot (can't weightbear and its swollen) and as I'm self employed I'm scared I'll need a cast or something on it. If this is the case I can't work in the hospital and thus can't pay the bills as I'll have no income and no savings! Hope it's just a strain. Going to see the physio this pm.

  • bah! At least it was for something important. If youd just spent it on shoes then the forum would not approve ;)! Prevention is cheaper than the cure, and usually more pleasent!! Keep those 6 monthly checkups and dont scrimp on good dental products, teeth probs are real horrible and its money well spent to stay on top ofit - things just get worse if you leave it, and more expensive lol! Hopefully you now look like this: :D

its amazing how things happen,I was just working out our finances and deciding who to pay this month, then i decided to go upstairs and gather some glasses out of my sons bedroom to go in the dishwasher. When i was half way down i must of slipped and i went crashing down to the bottom, all the glasses smashed and i was surrounded by broken glass and i couldnt move,i thought i had sprained my ankle but as it happened about 5 hours ago,I am now thinking it might be fractured because i cant move it or put any weight on it.We are really in trouble if i cant work because i am self employed. My husband works away so if he phones i will have tell him i am fine so he doesnt worry,i think i will wait till morning and see how my ankle is.but life changes in a flash.

Alternatively, why don't you get to casualty now before the Friday night rush.

If it's broken, they'll fix it. Waiting until morning isn't going to fix it.

If it isn't broken, they'll stick a support bandage on it, and you'll get a better night's sleep.

Going to casualty is a win-win situation...
