hi, some further info, sent the letter, then got a vague one back saying they were passing it back to the client
they have now sent a letter to my old ( parents address) saying their client (cabot finance) have an unpaid barclaycard bill from when i lived at 6 balfour rd nottingham
ive checked my credit record, its clear
im pretty sure this is the prev paid off det with activ capital
whats this about a 6 year rule
balfour rd was in 02/030 -
The 6 year thing is Statute Barred

right, well if its not the one thats paid off anyway its over 6 years, was a student address
also should i not have been informed that cabot had the debt if its a different one? its not a debt i have ever been contacted about before0
