The weather has been lovely here too and I've pegged out

Just popping in to catch up. Sorry to read you've been ill. Glad you are getting better now. My first thought was you had a magnum of champagne in the freezer and I thought go girl! But I'm guessing it was the choccie sort
Have a good week.

Morning Diary,
Lovely lie in until 8.30 this morning, DH was doing his best to wake me up beforehand by stomping round the bedroom but I nodded back off!
Not really sure what we are up to today yet something local I think. Will be a spend day too as I need baguettes for tea.
Other plans are to go to my body combat class at the gym, determined to go and get properly back on the wagon. I have been going to the gym (30 mins where I could squeeze in) but my eating on a weekend has been so bad! Need to get back in control.... there I've said it
SA, I would love that, you know me well :rotfl:. I am partial to a nice lay about in the sun too so that sounds perfect to me!!!
DFOD, hope you're enjoying the hols so far.
Bob, I did think that myself when I was typing it!! It was the chocolate variety!
So food today will be something like this:
Breakfast - weetabix and a slice of toast
Lunch - Cheese salad sandwich and an apple
Tea - Hot beef baguette, hm oven chips and peas
Snacks - strawberry and mango smoothie
Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -
Hi MTG I too have done mammoth washing and pegging out over the weekend - it was lovely. We had a BBQ and even my 2 teenage boys joined us!
Off to a Zumba class this morning at the gym, I've also got 5 bin bags full of clothes/bedding to take to the charity shop as did a massive clearout over the weekend.
i love the Easter hols - trying not to think about the school work I need to do though, it's only day 1 of the hols!0 -
Morning Louby,
Your weekend sounds lovely too. I would prefer to go to the gym earlier on but girls aren't old enough to be left yet so when DH gets home it is!
Ive made a start on the clearing out too. Sorted out DD2's underwear and PJ's, she still fits in stuff age 4-5 but I've chucked it all out as she is now 8 :rotfl: ordered them both some new underwear and swimming stuff to be picked up from Mr A's tomorrow.
Oohhhh don't be thinking about work just yet! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Just put another load in the washer... couldn't help myself :rotfl: xxMummytogirls x0

Afternoon Diary,
Im back after a little outing to a park about 15 minutes from here, kids enjoyed it and it only cost me an ice cream. We then called in at Mr Al's to get some fruit. Now I've know this for a while but I really need to try and make more of an effort to go here. We bought strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, pineapple, cucumber, salad leaves, scotch pancakes, crumpets, seeded rolls and baguettes... all for £11. Priced this same shop up at my usual Mr T's for £16! I would still need other bits from Mr T's as I don't like Mr Al's milk, cereal and other stuff but if I can save £5 on those few bits how much more could I save?!
This afternoon's plans are to keep the ironing up to date. Have a little but shouldn't take more than 20 mins.
Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -
