And sit down! Soooo tired now after my gym class. DH had got on with warming up the tea as id cooked it for the girls earlier so I didn't have to wait too long. Only ate half an hour ago and I actually feel really hungry like I haven't eaten all day!

PLMBL, the school puddings are the best but most of the old ones aren't allowed on the menu anymore as they're deemed unhealthy! Im not sure if you've ever had cornflake tart but thats my absolute favourite! Thats not allowed anymore :(

Shopping came in at £79 and some pence can't just remember. Had a couple of substitutions which worked in my favour :T

Did anyone see in the news about rationing of vegetables?! I haven't been able to get broccoli and lettuce for a couple of weeks and this explains it!

    Think thats all xx

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
I did see something this morning but my coffee hadn't kicked in. I buy bagged salad and hadn't noticed any shortage of that.

Morrisons online had courgettes and broccoli but no spinach. Not much to choose from in the bagged salad leaves department either. Will just have to substitute for something else until the shortage is over. However, will be mortified if there's a shortage of butternut squash.

Have a good weekend MTG :)

I've done my shop this morning and there was plenty of broccoli. I saw ice berg lettuce on the news where someon was charging £1.99 for 1 - shocking!

    Evening Diary,

    Had a lovely Saturday :D

DH and I cracked on with the cleaning and then he took the girls to football whilst I went and my hair cut. Had a new fringe put in which makes me look about 12 :rotfl: At first I was like OMG but I'm used to it now.

This afternoon DD1 went with a friend and DD2 went to football with my dad so DH and I did a bit of shopping. I picked up some gorgeous shoes I had ordered from Schuh, got them home and they are tiny. Never had a pair of shoes not fit before! Also exchanged some of DH's shirts in N3xt.

    Spends today:
£65 - hair  (own spending money)
    £14 - M&S nice food
£15 - Boots (shampoo, conditioner, face wipes and shower gel)
    £1.24 - broccoli and lettuce

    Food:
    Breakfast - crumpets with butter
Lunch - Scrambled egg and beans on toast
Tea - chicken and bacon burger with HM oven chips and onion rings
    Snack - Choc chip shortbread

Think thats about all from me! Hope all ok x

Hooray to the new fringe making you look younger :) I've always had a fringe - hides a multitude of sins - spots when I was young and now wrinkles. Cheaper than Botox :)

    Morning Diary,

Its a poor state of affairs when 7am is a lie in isn't it!! We haven't even got any football today and were still all up.

Not too much to report, still to have a NSD in February, hopefully tomorrow will be the first.

We are going out for tea tonight so today definitely won't be.

Thanks DFOD and SA, fringe needs taming this morning!! You wouldn't think it looked so nice yesterday :rotfl:

    Happy Sunday all x

    Evening Diary,

Had a lovely day today, just back from tea out which was delicious :D

Everything is ready for tomorrow so just need to chill for the rest of the night.

I've made a start on DD2's bedroom today, got rid of some of her old fancy dress stuff which are either too small or tatty. Also listed a pair of her old wellies on 3bay. They are in good condition and a bargain I would say so fingers crossed they sell. Next on the list is games, but will save that for another weekend!

    Thats about all really xx
