  • Evening Diary,

You know what, I'm actually feeling really positive about my life :D. The money is just ticking over, we are managing to have a life, I'm enjoying my new healthier me and the gym. Cant complain at all (not even about work today!).

Today has been a spend day £3 in Mr T's express on potatoes and milk. Needed change for breakfast club tomorrow. Tomorrow should be NSD3.

Thanks PLMBL, all well here again!!

    Food:
    Breakfast - weetabix
    Lunch - chilli bean soup
Tea - Jacket potato with cheese, beans and salad
Snacks - apple and a nakd bar

So the kids have decided they no longer want to go to gymnastics. They've been saying this a while now and weve been keeping them going until the end of their badges but now I'm thinking why are we paying out when theyre not fully into it. This will be £100 every 10 weeks saved :T. Im going to take them swimming using my gym membership for me which will cost considerably less and I can swim at the same time.

2 days to work before we break up :j Think thats all from me! xx

    Hi M2G,

I am so pleased to hear that you are in a happy place right now.

I need some of your motivation :o I have been rubbish lately.

My DD2 moaned for so long that she wanted to give up dancing and I pushed for 9 months until I thought why am I paying £100 a term and fighting her to go!!

Glad your girls are better and also glad to hear you sounding so positive. No point paying out for the gymnastics if they don't enjoy it, swimming is a fab idea and much cheaper.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Evening Diary,

Had a busy few days so not managed to get on to post! So today DD2 was having a carry on about her swimming lessons which she has done recently. She's really adamant she does not want to carry on with this and would much prefer if I took her. So I've not paid for her next 10 (which was due today!). She knows how to swim and could save herself if she fell in and this is the main thing. Ive told them when I take them mid week they will be doing some actual swimming aswell as playing in the water. Cant have her losing what weve paid out for. With this and gymnastics off the budget we will be a whopping £900 a year better off!!! I would prefer to keep her going a bit longer if I'm honest but I'm not going to force her kicking and screaming!!

Thanks to OF, DFOD and SA for popping in in my few days absence :D

I haven't really got anything much to report. Weve had a bit of a family drama going on which I can't go into on here but its been a pretty stressful affair and it hasnt ended well (not my little family but the wider family). Last night I went out for my friends birthday but came home early as they were all going off miles away and I didn't fancy it. DH picked me up at 8.45 and we came home and had a chinese which was really nice. Only spent £10 on a few drinks so not bad and I managed to catch up with everyone which was nice.

Hope everyones enjoyed their Valentines day if they celebrate. Me and DH generally don't bother with it but we did this year! I bought him his fave chocs and he bought me some beautiful red roses. Weve just a dine in meal from Mr T's which was tasty.

Had 3 NSD's last week, today has been a spend day as DD1 had a party so put money into the card (not sure what to buy for a 9 year old boy) and £60.35 on my shopping from Mr T's (35p over budget!). Sunday delivery is working so much better for me.

Oh I lost another lb this week which took me to half a stone off!! I can really tell in my clothes and pretty chuffed with myself (probably put it back on this weekend!). Will get back onto it tomorrow which a trip to the gym tomorrow and Wednesday.

    Food:
    Breakfast: toasted teacake
    Lunch: leftover chinese
Tea: Lemon and herb chicken, dauphinoise potatoes and vegetables and a glass of wine and then cheesecake
    Snack: curly wurly

So as you can see not the most healthy today!!!

    Hope all ok xx

  • Well done on 7lbs off, that's great! Sounds like you've had a lovely few days (family trauma aside)

Hope that will resolve itself and isn't causing too much angst..

Have a lovely half term MTG!

  • Evening Diary,

Had a lovely first day of half term :D. DH has been off sick, he's got back the cold/cough etc and I wondered if he had a chest infection. He's been checked over the doctor who said he's probably just pulled a muscle.

DD's and I went shopping this morning to spend more of DD2s birthday money. I bought some cl!nique things whilst I was there which was a little treat to myself!!!

Since DH was at home I went to the gym earlier than I would have managed to go.

    Food:
    Breakfast - weetabix
Lunch - half a greggs chicken salad sandwich (wasn't that nice)
Tea - hunters chicken, leftover dauphinoise potatoes and peas

No snacks today! I hardly snack when I'm at home which is good.
Will finish off the day with an options hot choc later on.

    Hope all ok x

  • Morning Diary,

Oh how I enjoy a chilled out morning at home!! DH here again coughing his head off! We were out for the counting last night at about 9.15!! We know how to live haha!!

So today, I've just updated my spread sheet, no surprises on there!!

Today will be a LSD, need to pop to the butchers whilst I'm in the next village for a few bits. Going to my cousins at lunchtime and then taking the kids to their fun swims at DD's pool.

Thats about all from me. Just checked in on 0nepoll, no surveys there still at £30.10.

    Happy Tuesday all xx
