Thanks all hope you all had good nights too.
So my house has now returned to normality, decorations down and house is clean. DH is back to work tomorrow so we are having a family movie afternoon to chill!! The weather is not good here heavy rain is not fancying going out.
Today is NSD1!! Haven't spent a penny all week so very impressed on that front.
Tonight's tea is leftover beef in baguettes with chips and onion rings.. Yum can't wait for that one.
Also I've been researching aldi and I think il make an effort to go there more often from next week when I get paid.
Right think that's all from me. Hope everyone ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Good Morning Diary,
Well a bit of normality has been restored today as DH is back at work. Havent got much planned for today as DD1 has a dermatology appointment at the hospital at lunch time. Will feed the kids beforehand and also going to take them some chocolate in my bag so that when they see the vending machine it saves me spending when theyve got bag fulls of chocolate at home :money:!
Will do some of their crafty activities once we get back for the afternoon.
Ive just reconciled the bank accounts and weve not spent much so it was just the usual DD's.
Yesterday I decided to join the £2 savers challenge (yet to have possession of one!) and ive also rounded down my bank account into my savings account so I currently have £1.16 in here. Both funds will be used for spending money for our break away that im hoping to book for end of October.
Other jobs for today are to catch up on the ironing and put it away. Chicken kievs, roast potatoes and veg for tea.
Think thats all from me. Hope everyones ok xMummytogirls x0 -
Oh forgot to add hoping for NSD2 today, havent spent any money all week which I am super impressed with!!! xxMummytogirls x0

Afternoon Diary,
Today has been a busy day for me and the kids! Cleaned up this morning and then this afternoon weve taken the dog out, been to the coop, played playdoh and painted! Just sat down now after 4 hours of being non stop.
Had a small spend in the coop of £3.54 as I needed some eggs for tonights quiche and tomorrows yorkshire puddings. Not bad after a whole 4 days of not spending.
Im going to do the meter readings on Sunday and hopefully we will still be in credit. Was going to up my direct debit but I think il leave it for now as another 3 months of the heating on and we should be able to reduce it a bit hopefully. If we manage to stay in credit over winter we should build up a massive credit through the summer. I think it helps that it has been pretty mild so far. We are currently having the timer coming on for 1.5 hours in a morning and 2.5 hours at tea time. Im quite impressed that weve not had it on through the day either as the house holds the heat.
Homemade quiche, chips and beans for tea.
Think thats all from me. Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Well done for not spending any money. I am doing pretty well too.
Hopefully the motivation will carry on

Afternoon Diary,
Just popping in for a catch up! Just done the meter readings and we are £60 in credit, am sitting tight for now and not upping the DD but if the weather changes we may need to up it a bit.
Nothing too exciting for today, infact me and the kids arent even dressed yet! Im hoping for NSD3 today cant see why we would need to spend any money but you just never know! Ive got a chicken to roast for tonights tea.
Thanks for popping in OF and DFW
.
Nothing more to report! Over and out ha! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy, happy new year to you. Good luck with saving the £2 coins, I did that last year and used it towards Christmas.
Well done on the NSDs. Hopefully I'm back on track with NSDs too.
