  • If it's conjunctivitis DD2 has, it will be very easy for DD1 to get it. I think my sister and I spend our whole childhood passing it between ourselves!! Glad it cleared up quick for DD2 though Xx

    Morning Diary,

Well as predicted the snow started at 3am, I woke up at about 5 past 3 and it had just started. Its quite bad here plus the wind is bad so not a nice day really! DD's school is closed so thats me working from home with them here. They have already been arguing and fighting. Il be getting them dressed soon and they can go play out and wear themselves out a bit!

I popped to M M's on my way home as as I was walking through town to my car after work they had the weather forecast on a big screen so I thought id best not chance it! I had to spend £35 to get week 3 voucher, I spent £34.25 so quickly got DD's some sweets to make it up!!! They also helped with the bribery for the eye drops!!!

PLMBl, youll be glad to hear DD1 hasnt got the eye problem! The Dr actually never said what it was actually and DD1 does like to jump on the old poorly bandwagon every now and again haha!!!!

So today will be NSD8 :j, Saturday, Sunday and Monday should also be NSD as Ive £2 in my purse, £8 in the joint account and about 34p in my account!!! We do have money in the savings but doubt we will touch those.

Think thats all from me! Hope everyones ok xx

    Morning Diary,

Wow what mental weather weve had over the weekend! Really bad snow for 48 hours nearly and then huge snow drifts covering cars! Thankfully its stopped now and the school is open!
Had NSD's since Friday and today will be a NSD too (I dont count the bus!) so NSD11 today. Payday tomorrow :j cannot come quick enough for me.

Picked up my free caffe nerro this morning courtesy of O2 rewards!

Have to leave work early today as I have a drs appointment so hopefully they wont be running too late and I can get home ahead of DH and DD2!

Think thats all from me! Hope everyones ok xx

    Morning Diary,

Payday yay :j!!!!! Love payday, used to hate it when juggling finances and couldnt wait to get on the computer and start robbing Peter to pay Paul... now however is a totally different story!
So ive made my payments to spending savings, childminders, DH spending money etc.

The good news is DH has got a payrise!!! Dont get too excited only 2% but 2% is better than 0%! It will get backdated to January hopefully when he gets paid on Thursday so I will transfer the extra straight out so that we dont dwindle it away and then we can decide what to do with it. DH is eager to finish the kitchen as we need to buy another cupboard for where we knocked down so it might go towards that.

Right think thats all from me. Hope everyones ok.. still a !!!!!! load of snow here and more falling, wish it would f off now!!xx

  • Hi mummy, great news on the back dated payrise :jand another month off your sig.

We have piles of icy snow everywhere, bought a sledge tonight (reduced) so DS3 is desperate for more snow!! LOL xx

    Morning Diary,

More snow !!!!!!!!! DH cleared the drive last night ready to bring the car back down after ive been shopping today and it starts again . Its really annoying me now! The car sharing, not being able to park on the street etc really gets to you after a bit!

So im working from home today and DH is coming home at 2pm as we have a show and tell for DD1. She has her lines to say!

DD2 is being a real handful just recently to the point where im actually dreading having time off in the holidays with them... how awful is that! She is so rude and just says no to us all the
time! Since turning 4 she had really turned a corner but seems shes slipping back again.
She keeps asking to go to the day out with Thomas to see the fat controller! so im going to go back to the reward chart with the ultimate reward being the day out for good behaviour.

Think thats all from me! Hope everyones ok xx

    Morning Diary,

Just popping in for a quick catch up!

Well its OH's payday today and the bank account looks lovely!!
He got £85 after tax payrise which is good so Ive transferred this and the £300 savings into his account for him to put in the savings. We must be so near our £500 target now!!

HSBC doesnt seem to want to let me make the payments today so I will try again in a bit. Have amended my signature though, and we are sooooo close to getting into the £11k's! I dont think we will make it next month though as I wont be making overpayment next month as I need to put the money aside for my MOT and once the interest has been added back on you know you hardly pay anything off.
So end of May we should be in the £11s woohoo!!!!

I drew the remaining shopping and petrol money out last night so thats safely tucked away now.
Spent £41 in the butchers on steak, sausage, chicken breast, whole chicken, mince beef and a topside joint.
Then spent £73 in Mr M's and then a further £58 on petrol.
Going to pop to home bargains today and buy a few bits from there.

Tomorrow we are going to the Odeon for the kids showing of rise of the guardians. I think its £2.50 per ticket there but the adult goes free so £5 in and then ive got an o2 priority moments code for free large popcorn! Incredibly cheap day out coming up :D.

Think thats all from me. Catch up soon xx

    Morning Diary,

Hope everyones ok, were up extremely early for a Saturday... yawn! DH is still in bed lucky thing, although I can tell that as soon he gets up all il here up about is him not being able to get to sleep... he fell asleep on the sofa 7.30-10pm !
So yesterday we went to the cinema and as I thought spent £5 and got the free popcorn courtesy of o2!
Then we went to McD's and spent £17  its like a 3 course meal in there for DH!
Then we went and bought me some new wellies from TK Maxx for £40.. rrp £70!! The buckle on the side was broke so I asked for more money off... got them for £35 and DH has fixed it for me :T. Im really pleased with them and the price of course. It might seem a lot of money to some people but I always live in my wellies as its usually snowing or raining here plus my other pair from Mr T's cost £13 and lasted 6 months before getting holes in all over. So these should last a bit longer than that!
Didnt do anything last night other than catch up with superscrimpers whilst DH slept on the sofa!!!

Not got anything planned for today. Its really sunny from what I can see, probably absolutely freezing and still loads of snow around. I think we might go for a long walk with the dog.

Think thats all from me. Hope everyones okxx
