    also it may be a bit late now but beanfeasts available in sainsburys (not sure where else) they are about 90p, they are soya mince and come in chilli, bolognaise or savoury mince flavour. Mix with water and boil, I think they are really tasty.
    I used to take them on camps all the time. dont forget the boys can eat out of their mess tins as well if one or two pot cooking. eg 2 mess tins one to cook beanfeast one to cook pasta or rice. Half of each in each mess tin to serve, eat with spoons! Chocolate for pudding - and don't forget some kendal mint cake for them if they will be walking / orienteering as well. - lovely stuff
