I've had a severe calcium deficiency for a few months, almost a year, I've been taking the tablets but they aren't increasing levels at all. Now I've got a severe vitamin D deficiency. The consultant who does my blood tests is terrible at communicating, so he wrote to me this morning saying I have had six results all showing severe vitamin D deficiency, and my personal consultant will be in touch. He also said it was expected, but I didn't expect it.
I'm too scared to google it incase the results are scary, lol.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -

Ive just googled vit D Saucy, it's not horrendous so don't worry ( and that's coming from someone who develops any side effects as soon as she reads medicine instructions) most of the symptoms are what you already have from the fibro and it sounds like it can be easily treated by vit D supplements or injections HTH0

not that scary.. both are fully treatable but it takes time... ( I know a little of nutrition!) .
Best thing to do is look at your diet... do you eat lots of fruit, veg (mainly green) ... how is your dairy intake?
Spain will help with your vit d as most of vit D comes from the sun...
you are calcium deficient becasue you are vit D deficient.... the body needs vit D to enable it to absorb calcium in the correct quantity...
Did the docs give you any dietary advice? or just give you calcium pills??sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0
