Em when you work in a hospital you do end up with a whole store of "fond" memories to look back upon and you do end up with a sense of humour that even took our builders by surprise. hey ho“Don’t ask what the world needs. Glad DH gone to bed early as don't have to explain my silent shoulder shaking laughter. DS is too engrossed in pokemon to notice.“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Joey's Dilemma of the day
My 9 year old niece came for tea last night and she brought her notebook with her as she is busy composing songs at the moment. She's so like me sometimes it's scary!!
I was only allowed to read one of them as they are "private" so felt very honoured. I showed her my blog and suggested that she write a post for it. I've told her that if she wants I will then make her a blog of her own that she can post on regularly. My question is, would you use one of these sites that are made just for kids, or would I be better doing one from scratch on blogger like I did mine?
The few kids ones I found (like this one) seem on first glance full of a lot of rather pushy adverts trying to get you to become a full member, i.e. pay a membership, which makes me lean more towards creating my own for her. But I wondered if there were perhaps extra safety measures for kids on there that I wouldn't find on blogger. Any thoughts most welcome!:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -
