  • Do you need varying sizes or all the same?
Mabel, I've sent Mexican to look for something made of nice black lace for me. He is no doubt going to come back with underwear, thinking about it, but it is my aim of the day to create it and get it up. Along with everything else that is made...I want to officially launch tonight with my lovely new logo :)
    Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:

I get most of my brown paper from pound shops. Jiffy bags I got a bulk lot from eBay but it is worth comparing as they vary in price a lot .

He might come back with a black lace merkin!! You shouldn't have worried about it hun and you better make it more expensive to cover you buying stuff especially.
I shall think of the Mexican hunting round underwear shops everytime I use the book!

When your sites officially up and running I'll do a blog entry about it for you :-)

laura - what was your reply to the one you had ?

    The ebay?

It was a top I sold and it was just plain black said it had been worn once. They had paid 1p for it plus £2 postage and they said it didn't look the same as it did in the picture and they weren't happy so could I refund

I said I would but I wanted the top back first

So they replied that they wanted the postage cost to send it back as well.

I told them to post it would go by large letter so to send it like that second class and I would refund it all plus give them the postage money

I just didn't want to argue about it, I didn't get a responce and I haven't had the item back so I don't really know what happens with that because it still says I have an open case on ebay

I've just updated my signature and ignoring the fact that my running total for this challenge has gone SERIOUSLY the wrong way (can't stop buying beads :rotfl:) everything else is looking pretty good. I literally can't believe I've paid pennies away from a grand off my debt this year (baring in mind me and DS live on approx £850pm and Preschool is £250, it's a MASSIVE achievement for me, mostly down to money from this though, not my regular money but who cares, it's paid, that's what matters!

Sorry if I sound all gloat-y I'm just a little bit in shock after figuring it all out. Debts down a grand-ish, £100 xmas savings, £275 in regular savings/challenge monies, actual money in the bank for once. When this MSE stuff kicks in it really kicks in.

I had to share, you guys understand, my friends would mostly think I'm weird, (although they do anyway since they have to hold my hand to make me go in the pound shop :o ) It's just nice to realise that we don't have to be broke forever. Sorry.. again.

EDIT: Is it sad that I just paid the pence amount to round down my bank balance to a card JUST so I could say OVER a grand rather than NEARLY a grand??

Stop apologising now! The whole point of this thread is to help each other and celebrate good news-there has been so much illness lately that its good to hear a success story! You have done brilliantly and hearing what other people have done just inspires us to get of our butts and work harder!!

  • OK, no apologising.. I did good, yay me :)

Thank you all for kicking me up the bum when I need it and letting me rant (lots :rotfl:) I wouldn't have got this far without it. (I sound so tragic :rotfl:)

On the illness front, I have to have blood tests, I hate blood tests  But I'll be off these antibiotics by Thurs, just in time for my friends B'day drinks on Friday :D
