no idea why it didn't want me mentioning or linking to that site cos its a really common one.
if you want to use it maybe google around for reviews of it to check you are happy with it.
I have seen many people use it in forums to reduce the size of their links and used it myself a couple of times. but confused why it brings up the !!! stuff

haha jo ever tried mispelling account? lol!
Nikki - my health visitor did that too, but I told her it was for an allergy study and doctor approved, she then changed her mind! Try calling her anyway, or going to a dropin centre, there will be a random health vistor there, I used to do that cos mine was too far up her own !!!! to make me feel comfortable.
Glis - you are cleverer than me!

Think some sites maybe ban use of shortened urls as you can't see where you are being redirected to as the url doesn't indicate this.
Apparently twitter automatically shorten them if they exceed thei own parameters which are not public knowledge.
They used to use the service I mentioned but now use a different company that they have some link with.
so looks like twitter will do it for you cagne if not google for a url shortening service and look at reviews of the different ones.

Mabel that is beautiful, sort of thing I would buy.
You lot are making it hard for me, I absolutely love it all, 2cats pendants, Yukki's bracelets, Mabels necklaces, there is only one problem, I never wear any of it, between DD1 and 2 it would only get destroyed, DD1 has to date broken 7 necklaces and nearly ripped out too many earrings to count, so I gave up and am not going to bother until they are older! This time next year will be having a serious spend with all of you!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -

Nah, I'm not clever - the only thing I can really do is make a nice noise when I open my mouth! I look at everybody on here with talent for making things, or just good sense, and I'm in awe...Stage one - declutter
Stage two - sell the clutter
Stage three - turn the money into more money
Stage four - pat self on back

I can do that tooo! I can make a noise like a strangled cat! I have absolutely no talent, unless you count feeding 2 kiddies and me dinner at the same time or squeezing 3 in a tiny bath! Am envious, if I am honest, I love being creative, but don't have the time or the skill that everyone else has, so I will stick to home made christmas cards for now, and be amazed at the things everyone else can do!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0

Just a quick pop-in while I've got 5 minutes (am at work, lol).
I always use this to shrink links if I feel the need : http://www.rootschat.com/links/
- it's available on what I believe is the best Family History Website and Forum around, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, having used it more times than I care to mention. HTH.
