  • Glis - mine did that, so OH installed a new copy of windows onto it and it hasn't done it for 4 months now, thought mine was destined for the scrap heap too.

I'm backing the whole thing up right now, and then I'm doing a factory reset - trouble is, it's been doing BSODs since it was box fresh! :p

Hopefully I can keep it going a bit longer...

Just found out the advanced training is fully funded with scholarships, so it's just a matter of covering a few weeks not earning. Which this challenge can take care of ;)

I need to get some cash too, what shall we do? :) was thinking about swapping gas/electric maybe, going to go through the front page of MSE and see what basic stuff I can do. Also think should maybe do some DooYooing seeing as I haven't done any for ages...because it's boring...need to knuckle down I think!
Nikki can you change your doctor maybe? Don't worry too much about telling them about being self-destructive, they'll probably refer you to counselling, which could take a while, but one thing you might want to ask about is cognitive therapy as it's meant to be more positive and effective than ust talking about stuff. Hope it goes OK.

I'm back to ebaying I think. Well I'm gutting the house so I better find stuff to ebay lol (kitchen is nice and shiny!!)

Well...I'm to young to be depressed and ive to get up and get on with it?? I think they thought I wanted attention or something, gotta love my doctors surgery.

I would love to change my doctor but they way our surgery is, is that you don't have a set doctor you see any of them. The only nice one works PT and the rest are nazis/barstewards/anal retentive people (delete as appropriate)

Nikki - telling domeone for the first time is the hardest part, you could call your health visitor if it is easier to talk to her nd she will arrange it all without the need for a doctor, mine did, I had a lady come to my house to see me once a week to talk through things, helped a bit, not allowed meds cos I am breast feeding, so its the best I can get.

My health visitor disowned me when I weaned my baby at 3 months. I don't think she appreciated me taking my mums advice over hers. My 'under average' (according to her) son is going to get childhood diabetes and be overweight and will personally blame me for it!!

Well I've managed to redeem £30 of Amazon vouchers so I'm going to treat myself to some Elizabeth Arden facecream that I wouldn't normally be able to afford!! Then I will start saving them for Xmas presents ... maybe :rotfl:

Some singing training - some intensive training and mentoring in German late-romantic operatic repertoire. And I'm 41 in a couple of weeks! At least it's structured so I can still work. Phew...now just to ace the audition...

you can go to a site called !!!!!!!.com.
you can enter a url into their box and they create a short url that will link to the same place. It has been around a long time I think and seems reliable. I would always check it works before you give out the link.
they also have a button you can put on your toolbar which makes a !!!!!!! of the url you are currently on as you are browsing.
