Sygma Bank - the man who say "Yay"

So I posted a little while ago because my mother was looking for a balance transfer since MBNA rate jacked her.

Post Office, Tesco, and Egg all said "No thanks love, off you pop".

After looking at her credit file in more detail it transpired that although she's been paying over the minimum on all her cards her Barclaycard had a suprisingly low minimum payment (£50 P/M on a £4,250 balance). Expanded that account on her EX report - it was in an AP. No wonder all the other people say nay!

Checked Equifax and it was more immediately visible that it was in an AP and had been for nearly seven years :( Tut tut naughty mother!

Anyway given that there have been ZERO searches on her EQ file in the last YEAR I gave the Sygma Silver Mastercard a shot - instant acceptance!

It's only six months interest free, but given she has an active AP on her file I think that's pretty awesome. They certainly are the "missing link" between Prime and Sub Prime, huh?

Well that was it really just thought I'd share - Sygma in her case were much more lax than Post office, Tesco, and Egg ;)

For what it's worth, I applied for Post Office, Tesco and Egg at various times over the last 2 years, and got rejected for all of them.

I've applied for 20 credit cards over the last 4-ish years and have been accepted for 9 out of 20 (some have since been closed), and in that time I've never missed a payment but yet I still was declined for those three cards.
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

Oh... approved for £1,000 at 24.9% APR. Pretty pointless! Never mind...
