free veg plus 19p profit

In the asda magazine at the moment is a coupon for 50p off birds eye field fresh frozen veg.
I have just been to asda and got the 4 pack of steam field fresh veg bags for £1 a pack - but the coupon has the wrong bar code and scans at £1.19 making the veg free and a 19p profit:j

Is this a new March mag?, my store never seem to put them out untill nearly into the 2nd week of the month!

this is the new march mag and it has some little iced fairy cakes on thr front cover.

I bought 2 x packs - I took one pack to the customer service desk to ask how much they were as the label said £1.81 each or 2 for £2 but I wasnt sure if that was right - when she scanned it, it came up at £1. My packs have 4 of the individual steam bags inside containing carrots, brocolli and sweetcorn - the two packs were £2 in total and I gave in 2 x £1.19 coupons giving me £2.38 off my shopping HTH

You should have bought 4.

These are included in the 4 for £3 offer

So they are effective only 75p each

So it's a 4 x 19p "BONUS" - 1 for each coupon used against each £1 pack and then the give you £1 back for buying 4

£1.76 off the rest of your shopping :rotfl:

I was panicking to just see if the coupon scanned at £1.19 lol might try my luck again tomorrow on the 4 packs ( or leave it to another brave MSE!!);)

I went in today

4 x Steam Bags @ 4 for £3

Then used 4 coupons for 50p off which scanned at £1.19 each

I did the same and I threw in the £1 huggies moc for good measure:D
