The bags pictured were the ones i bought. But i just looked at the coupons in the other mags i picked up and they arent the same picture. They are whole bags rather than a bag of 4 pouches. The ones the vouchers should be used on im guessing is the £1.67 bags!

This happened to me tonight. SA spotted the vouchers were scanning at the wrong price. She called over the supervisor who overrode the till! Oh well, I got one lot with out any problems the other day. I might try again tomorrow with a different SA:D

got my bags today too but after paying the she cashier looked at my reciept, called over a ca, spoke to her quitely, then i was called over to customer services!!!!
I was told i had been "very lucky" to get the money off" and then the woman said she would not let any1 have any more books and went to collect all reamining books from around the store, and then to call head office! Said i was unaware of what had happened reguarding the 50p coupon, but she seemed angrey. Left the store feelin like i had done something wrong :eek::eek:

God the checkout girls are keeping awake! Mine went through at £1.19 and after the second one she also 'noticed' it was for 50p.
Still a bargain though............

Oh my gosh, how do you guys manage this? Tried it x 2 today, just 1 packet each time with various other shopping. Both SA's read the voucher like hawks, and as soon as they scanned it and it came up with -1.19, they cancelled the voucher and typed in -0.50. What gives?

It worked for me a little while ago infact i went back to get more but the SA noticed so i didn't bother getting them in the end,lucky as my freezer is full. Great find though

I only got one today and used the voucher at the SS till and it worked a treat.
Didnt have the nerve for the 4 for 3:(

thanks to OP. I went to Leyton ASDA this morning. They had lots of mags out. Got 4 of the £1.67 bags and used 4 coupons and it took off £1.19 off each coupon.

I used the self scan checkout though. too chicken to go to an SA in case they noticed this. The sa was a bit busy so not sure whether she noticed
