Agree, in the EU, the passport only has to be valid for the duration of the stay. If you are not planning on going away again in the next few years there seems no point in renewing it.0

isnt the £49 a total rip off you only get 5 years so costs £98 for the same number of years as an adult one and most think that ones a rip off as well

I totally agree eslick!!! £98 for (equivalent) 10 years child's passport, £77.50 for adult's :mad:. Three kids & two adults later I'm so sure I can afford the bloody holiday now!!!!:(0
