venetian blind help pls

I am looking for a venetian blind for the kitchen and after looking around it would appear that if i want one " off the shelf" they are all 160cm or thereabouts "drop" but the prices are good at about £20 each. As the " drop " i need is 94 cm I decided to look at custom made ones and the prices were between £70 and £100!!

I know that I can trim the width to fit but is it possible to remove some slats to make the "drop" right?

Yes..very easy to do.

I bought some from B&Q last year - nice 50mm slat width. John Lewis one's were £100+...

It basically involved undoing the knot on the strings at the bottom, taking out as many slats as you don't need, then doing it up again. Easy peasy....

The instructions that came with them explained how to do it as well.

Maybe have a look at the instructions of the one's you like the look of and if they are able to be shortened.
