Hello all, the thread above has just been brought to our attention and we just wanted to let you know how the competitions work at Real Homes magazine.
Once we have drawn the winners we notify the PR or marketing department at the company supplying the prize. We have an agreement with these companies that they then send the prize/s out to our readers. And we trust that they do so.
If those prizes aren't immediately forthcoming for some reason, the winning readers can get in touch with us which then enables us to chase the PR teams to hurry the prizes along.
Checking our records, it looks like the team at Harris sent out the DIY kits within a month of receiving an epic list of 200 names and addresses from us. So thanks to them for being so efficient.
If anyone thinks they should have a received any prize from our magazine but haven't, do please get in touch via realhomes@centaur.co.uk

in my initial post I stated that the comp closed first week of november.... and i posted at the beginning of march...

i did get in touch by email before i posted here, but i still hadnt received a reply from you so wondered how many others had/hadnt received their prize or a response.

If the team at Harris sent them out within a month of receiving the list, then it looks like RealHomes sent the list off to them quiet late. I was overthemoon though as after I emailed yourselves, my prize arrived within a week! If i had not of "googled" my name I would have been none the wiser I had won! It was a very welcomed win indeed!

Thank you so very much .... just decorated a few rooms with the help of this kit! What a godsend it was!!!
