When to plant climbers?

if they are showing new growth you will have to harden them off gently for a couple of weeks before you even think of planting them out side. New growth is a sign that they have been forced and will just turn their toes up at the first sign of frost. Morrisons should not be selling these at present, ok if they are still dormant. Even saw B&Q selling tom plants, petunias, lizzies etc, measly looking specimens they were as well, not many people heat their greenhouses to over 10deg at this time of year.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Thanks for that! They're also in a pretty tiny pot at the moment, would you suggest moving them to a bigger pot to give them some room and then keeping them inside until the weather starts to warm up?0

Potting up will do no harm and will give them a better start when the soil warms up and you can plant them.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
