I have cracked the microsoft office 2003 installation cd while trying to instal it on a laptop but this installation is on another laptop is there any chance of getting the installion files off that laptop and burning it onto a cd to put on the other laptop?

I'm guessing the installation files don't save when you instal from a disc?
Thanx

i dont think office stores any files on the pc, however you can use any office medium (as long as its the same student/standard/pro/etc) and use your key.

Ring Microsoft - if you have a genuine key they will send you a replacement disc (for a fee)

Try to use it, I have used cracked discs (WinXP) and worked fine !
Try to copy it to the hard drive or CD - may read several times but could copy across.

Have a look on the laptop for a folder called msocache.. should be in the root of c:\ this should be the cached installer for office 2003. If you do have this folder copy this off and run it on the desktop, should install ok..
