    I wouldn't worry about it too much. If they are looking in to it I'm sure they will decide to honour it, even if it means they discount the full £2000 themselves. You clearly ordered it for scrappage way back in Jan, not your fault it took so long.

    Have been looking at this after I posted back to you on the other thread.
    It would appear that once the £300m has gone then the government is not bound to pay the £1000 which I think is paid once they have receieved the paperwork, if the car you are part exing is still on the road then Kia wont have received the money and it may well have run out.

    may be worth a call to kia customer services its not your fault they did'nt have the car ready in time
  • Hope you get this sorted. I ordered my new Kia 4 weeks back under the scrappage scheme. I picked it up today without any issues.

    I cant see Kia wanting to lose all that custom so fingers crossed the will pull out all the stops to resolve it.
