Do care homes get more money the more drugs the residents take?

Options
I now have the care records for my mother, in the first home to which she was admitted in 2005, direct from hospital. The medication administration record shows that she was on a great many drugs from the outset but there is no sign of these actually having been prescribed for her ....

Which made me wonder for the first time: does having residents on lots of drugs result in the care home accessing more funds from somewhere that it would not otherwise be able to access?
YouGov: £50 and £50 and £5 Amazon voucher received;
PPI successfully reclaimed: £7,575.32 (Lloyds TSB plc); £3,803.52 (Egg card); £3,109.88 (Egg loans)

    The drugs will have been prescribed either by the GP who is responsible for your mother's healthcare, or by a doctor in a hospital where she was an in or out patient.

    The drugs prescribed for residents of care homes are provided by the NHS at no cost to the home or to residents over the age of 60.
    .................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

    I am not aware of any specific supplementary payment for administering drugs but it may form part of a care plan that requires nursing and therefore may attract the nursing supplement of I believe £101 per week.
